Self-priming magnetic pumps of the ZFT series fully combine the advantages of a magnetic pump and a self-priming pump: they have a self-priming function, but at the same time they do not have a shaft seal, they use transmission through a magnetic coupling, which completely eliminates the phenomenon of drip leaks.

Suction of water from a low reservoir, loading and unloading of raw materials from tank trucks, operating conditions with periodic air transportation, gas-liquid media. Suitable for pumping various acids, alkalis, salts and organic solvents.
◆ 50 ZFT -32
◆ 50 — Suction pipe diameter 50 mm
◆ ZFT - PTFE self-priming magnetic pump
◆ 32 - Head 32 m
When choosing a pump in our company, you should take into account the installation height. The vertical distance between the suction level and the pump shaft must be less than the installation height specified for the pump.
The following formula is used for calculation:
Hsz ≤ Ha - Hv - ΔHs - (NPSH)r
where:
Hsz - Fixed installation height (m)
Ha — Atmospheric pressure at the installation site (m water column)
Hv - Vaporization pressure of a liquid at a given temperature (m)
Hs - Pressure loss in the suction pipe (m)
NPSH - Permissible cavitation head specified in the parameter table (m)
Pump power means the input power of the pump, denoted by N.
Output power is the net power transferred by the pump to the fluid as it passes through the pump, denoted Ne.
Ne = (ρ × g × Q × H) / 3600
where:
Ne — Shaft power (W)
ρ — Liquid density (kg/m³)
g — Gravity acceleration (m/s²)
Q - Flow (m³/h)
H - Head (m)
Input power and output power are not equal because power loss occurs in the pump. The amount of losses is usually estimated by the efficiency of the pump. Efficiency is denoted by η. Pump efficiency is the ratio of power output to power input.
