IJ type chemical process pump is a standardized chemical process pump upgraded and improved by our company based on IH pump. This pump adopts a single-stage, single-pass cantilever design, and its operating parameters comply with GB5662-85 standard (equivalent to ISO2858-1975). The design incorporates advanced hydraulic models to provide high efficiency, which is 5% higher than IH pumps, making it an energy-saving product. The design was inspired by the American ANSI standard: increased shaft diameter, reduced cantilever ratio, eliminated the problem of frequent shaft failures typical of IH pumps, increased operational stability and reduced maintenance and operating costs. Following the American standard API682, continuous research and improvement has been carried out on mechanical seals and seal chamber design. The developed 171 Series mechanical seals have been successfully used in industries such as soda ash, chlor-alkali, salt production, metallurgy, pulp and paper, environmental protection, as well as in environments with crystallization-prone and particulate-heavy media. The sealing pattern recommended by API610 can also be used. After more than ten years of development and expansion, the application range of IJ pumps has continually expanded. Currently there are more than 100 standard sizes covering almost all chemical process applications at pressures up to 2.0 MPa and temperatures up to 200 °C. Along with CZ and ZA, it is one of the three most widely used series of chemical process pumps in China.

The pump housing is designed for axial suction and radial discharge. The support legs are cast integrally with the pump housing and are directly fixed to the base. The pump cover is fixed to the suspension housing with a stop, and the pump housing and suspension housing clamp the pump cover. During maintenance, it is enough to unscrew the connecting nut between the suspension housing and the pump housing, after which the drive part of the pump can be removed from the housing without dismantling the suction and pressure pipelines. For larger pumps, an intermediate extension connection is provided between the pump coupling and the motor shaft. The engine does not need to be moved during maintenance. By removing the intermediate extension connection, the drive part can be removed from the pump housing. This is a chemical pump design recognized as an international standard.
